He only wants a safe place...fearful during storms and fireworks--microchipped...55 pounds--very, very sweet, friendly. This WAS a hunting dog who kept wandering to a family home, when he was supposed to be hunting. He loves people and would make a wonderful companion. He would need a fenced yard, ONLY because the 'hound' in him will find him on the scent of a deer and he would get lost. Finnegan is maybe 3-4 years old. He loves to be held close and he loves to play. He loves playing with a ball; he is like a puppy! He will make a great family dog, too! He is fine in a crate! He is house-trained! He is best friends with his kennel mate, Candy--see their pics together under Finn & Candy Cane! He sleeps on his back in the car, if on a long enough car ride!!
