Dixie is a 2year old Sheba Inu rescue from Natchitoches, LA. Dixie is an extremely people oriented dog, She is highly intelligent, has a wonderful personality and has a great play drive. Like most Sheba Inus, Dixie is a dominant dog and is the Alpha female wherever she goes. Dixie is basic obedience trained, is eager to please and listens very well. She is a loyal, fun-loving companion but will also be a great watchdog. Dixie is not for the faint of heart, but if you are an experienced dog owner and like an independent thinking and challenging breed of dog, Dixie is your girl. Dixie will do best in a household where she is the only dog, although she will bond with a dominant male dog. We DO NOT recommend Dixie as a pet with toddlers or to a household with cats. Dixie has been spayed, is up to date on all her shots and is heartworm negative.
