Trevor is a young adult male that looks to be a mix of Lab or Shepherd and possibly Pit Bull. Hes got those ears that want to stand up, but cant quite get there. He is about 1 year old and he weighs about 45 pounds at present. Trevor came to us from south of Austin, near the observatory. He was running loose and we initially had a difficult time securing him. But we did and since that time, hes warmed up to volunteers, but has become very leery of strangers entering the Shelter. He will need someone with patience to help him overcome that insecurity. We do think he is likely full grown at his present size. Trevor tries to keep his kennel clean, but his prospective home should plan on doing some housetraining work just to be sure. Trevor's best quality is that he just loves other dogs and he makes a great doggie playmate.
The adoption fee for Trevor is $75. We utilize a short adoption application form to assess compatibility between dogs and their prospective homes.
