Hello, my new name is July. My previous owner abandoned me. I am about 4 yrs old. I am healthy, HW negative, now on preventative and F/T preventative. I am Neutered and UTD on all my vaccines. I love people and get along with other dogs, I bark at cats but don't chase them. I sport a large, heart shaped spot on my back . I have a great Walker hound voice and use it to tell my foster folks that I am happy to be here, and on my way to a forever home. I enjoy my crate and gladly go there for a treat. I don't like thunder but, I don't panic when in my crate in the dog room. Remarkably I don't fear gun fire. I walk on a leash without fear or tugging. I'm OK about car rides now that I know I won't be dumped again. I am very active and love to sniff out the critters around here. I have learned to enjoy being petted, but I don't jump-up on people. I have to have a fenced yard, a safe, comfortable crate or dog house. (I especially love straw bedding). I don't use my crate for a potty, I would make a great buddy for jogging or riding on the four-wheeler or in the truck.I have learned to sit and wait for the OK command to start eating my kibble.Contact Pam for more info and to complete an application.
