Deacon has a permanent smile on his face for being rescued! He gets along well with male dogs and some females, fine with cats and he LOVES playing with toys. He loves his people and being with them but will need confident parents that will show him right from wrong... someone that will guide him into being a wonderful companion. He will retrieve the ball and bring it back but needs work on dropping the ball, does great with trades. He is a SMART boy and would greatly bond with his person with some obedience training. Deacon needs to go to a home with older children (12 and up) or no children due to his food aggressions and ball obsessions, which have gotten much better since being in foster care. He is a great boy that will blossom in the right family environment! Deacon is being fostered near Richmond, VA.

All ARCBCR dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative and on preventative, dewormed and on flea and tick preventative before going to their forever homes.
