Baron is a big, sweet, handsome boy with an approximate DOB of 1/2009. In 2010 he was physically thrown from a vehicle at a local veterinary office; he arrived at the shelter a short time later. Baron was very timid when he first arrived, but quickly warmed up to the volunteers and is still a little leery of strangers at times. Baron plays well with dogs of all sizes. He would do best in a home with other dogs and will leave a cat alone once he understands that it is a member of the family. Baron enjoys the outdoors and would enjoy an active family that wants to be outside with him. He is currently living in a foster home where he has learned to sit, lay, shake and stay. He enjoys spending time with his foster mom inside and outside of the house. He is learning to be social with strangers and how to behave outside of his normal environment. Baron deserves to find a family that understands his personality and is willing to devote the time, patience and love that this sweet boy deserves. Due to his timid nature, Baron would do best with older children (12+) that understand how to interact with him.
