Sweet Pea is the sister of Sawyer. She came into rescue just a few months after he did. She gets on very well with the other dogs in rescue, but will lurk in the background until she is completely comfortable in the presence of an unfamiliar human. She is a beautiful Foxhound mix with long legs and a very sweet nature. Sweet Pea would probably make a good walking/jogging partner, and at 3 1/2 years old is past they hyper puppy stage and willing to rest on the sofa whilst you run through the channels on the television. Still, she's got plenty of energy to keep up with a young family or diligent walker.

Message from my brother: "Hi, My name is Sawyer, you have probably already seen me posted, but by a total miracle I have been reunited with my sister "Sweet Pea." Ya see, Sweet Pea was 'dopted at the shelter, then I went to the Beagle Rescue. Well, this nice lady just found poor Sweet Pea a wanderin' down the road all by herself. The lady took Sweet Pea to another shelter. Well, by purrrreeee miracle, Tina, the lady that took care of us at the first shelter, saw Sweet Pea at the shelter where Sweet Pea was taken and Tina right away called my foster Mom to if she could take Sweet Pea tooooo!!! We was so excited to see each other we both was just a jumpin fer JOY!!!!! We are really, really sweet pups and we really like just sittin' on the couch and hangin' out. Play time is good fun to for a good ole game of Fox and Hound!!!!"

Adoptive Status: Spayed, UTD on shots, heartworm-negative and micro-chipped.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Just needs love and a human to love her.
