Shiloh has always been sharp, and a few years ago taught himself to play "toss and fetch", picking up a milk jug and tossing it into the air and down the steps, then running down to the yard to grab it, and back up the steps to do it again. He is hard of hearing any more, and may be developing cataracts because he sometimes shies away from movement. He also has some mild stiffness in the hips lately that joint supplement will hopefully help, but he's 11 years old now, so it's not surprising that he's starting to slow down. When he was younger he needed something challenging, like agility or frisbee, but while he may not be quite up to strenuous activity any more, he can still go on morning and evening walks, and his gentleness and big heart still shine through; he loves to give and get attention!
