My name is Apple and you may wonder why I look so sad in my picture. My story is interesting and exhausting. I am originally from a rescue in Nevada when my foster mom died. There were over 100 dogs on the property, and I was on of the last to be removed. Although I am social with people, I am shy and sensitive. I have escaped twice from fenced yards, so I will need a secure kennel to keep me safe. I hope to find someone with patience and a quiet home so I can slowly come out of my shell and learn how to be a normal socialized dog. If you think you can handle a quirky and gentle dog such as myself, then give me a chance to become the "apple of your eye."
